How to Apply
college campus

The Harry E. Bovay, Jr., Foundation provides financial assistance to specific communities in Lamar County, Alabama; Lyon and Osage Counties in Kansas; and Chickasaw County in Mississippi.
High school students who are residents of the above counties can apply for College Scholarships.  Teachers from those counties can apply for Educator Grants and community leaders can apply for Community Grants.
Education scholarships and grants must be applied for by July 31 prior to fall college attendance.  Applications will be reviewed by the Bovay Foundation Selection Committee. The committee will judge each according to the requirements set forth on the Applicant Rating Sheet.  The student’s final score will be comprised of the total points scored by the selection committee.
