How to Apply

The Harry E. Bovay, Jr., Foundation provides college scholarships for specific high schools in Alabama, Kansas and Mississippi. In Lamar County, Alabama, scholarships are for attendance at Bevill State Community College.  

Three high schools are supported indirectly through the Bovay Foundation Tuition Guarantee Program at Bevill State.  Those schools are Lamar County High School, South Lamar High School and Sulligent High School. Students from Santa Fe Trail High School, Carbondale, Kansas and Northern Heights High School, Allen Kansas, receive support for the first year of college. They should contact their guidance counselor for information about the program.
Students should keep the foundation informed of their grades and any unique situations that may affect their GPA.
